| About Me |
Hello, my name is Keevin F. Simpson and I live in Phoenix, AZ. I went to a small college and received my Bacholor's of Science degree in Architecture/Design in 2002. I've worked in the field of architecture off and on since 2000, often going back to my love of holistic medicine and various healing modalities. During this time I built up a background in color, sound, and crystal therapy, as well as herbalism, acupuncture, feng-shui, reiki, and hado. I have been trained as an Aura Soma Color Practitioner, Usui & Seichim Reiki Master, Inner Sound Therapist, & Certified Hado Instructor. To see these certifications, feel free to visit the link on the side menu entitled Certifications. I have always loved mathematics and enjoyed design, hence my architectural background; fractal art felt like a natural expression of these characteristics. I began playing around with fractals as a hobby for a few years. However, as time progressed I began to create more in-depth pieces that appeared to be something more than a typical fractal. Many people began to mention how many of my pieces looked as if they were more spiritual in nature and seemed to illustrate a deep connection to the Universe. At that point I realized that my work could touch people’s lives and allow them to look at the divine in nature and thereby in themselves. I create every fractal with a specific intent and “channel” them as they come; for that reason some call my fractals channeled art. I am also an amateur photographer and will sometimes incorporate my own photographs or other elements into my art. I deeply enjoy creating these diverse worlds and after six years I am just as exhilarated and enamoured with fractals as I was at the beginning of my fractal's journey. I have worked for several retailers and large architectural firms doing designwork, architectural surveying and many other things. In the past three years I have also done many remodel projects on either mine or my family's properties; from minor paint work to complete demolition and rebuilding of the entire interior. I currently work for Staples as an Architectural Plans Examiner and work on my fractal art in my free time. If you want to learn more about some of my training, healing modalities or artwork, please go to the My Work section on the top menu. If you have any questions, always feel free to contact me.
